Our programs are specifically designed to be of benefit to all participants, especially youth and adults at risk from stress related to school, family, work, finances, personal relationships, peers and their social environment. Aikido Program

The Pathway to Harmony Aikido Program is a life skills and self defense program designed to teach students how to unify their mind, body, and spirit (will) to accomplish academic, professional, personal, and defensive goals; help students gain greater control and balance/harmony over there lives through the use of martial arts and meditation; help students minimize stress in their lives; increase their self-esteem and confidence; and, help students develop skills that can help them improve their quality of life.

Pathway to Harmony Aviation-STEM

The Pathway to Harmony Aviation-STEM program is currently being conducted at Lindblom Math and Science Academy, a Chicago public high school. It was developed in collaboration with Gift of Flight for the purpose of providing youth with a pathway to financial stability. Our goal is to introduce students to the field of Aviation and the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers connected to aviation that can help them achieve financial stability. Each week non-cognitive life skills that prepare students for higher education and success in growth careers such as FAA Pilot (commercial, drone), Air Traffic Control, Aircraft Maintenance, Aerospace Engineering, and Meteorology are taught. Trained industry professionals cover topics connected to these high paying fields and prepare youth for their FAA Private Pilot Certification.

Healthy Eating and Exercise

The Pathway to Harmony Healthy Eating and Exercise Program is a special program designed to increase youth and adult awareness regarding good nutrition and the importance of developing healthy eating habits and exercising regularly. This wellness program is done in collaboration with Advocates for Community Wellness, Inc., a faith-based health promotion and disease prevention organization; Greg'O: A personal Chef Service.

Mind and Body Energy Revitalizer

The Pathway to Harmony Mind and Body Energy Revitalizer is an exercise and meditation program. The goal of the program is to provide participants with the opportunity to take a brief hiatus from the stresses of life, learn how to manage stress and develop a healthy life style that can enhance their quality of life.

Pathway to Harmony Aikido Summer Enrichment (P.H.A.S.E)

Pathway to Harmony Aikido Summer Enrichment (PHASE) is a full day character and leadership development program. In PHASE, youth engage in activities that teach non-violent conflict resolution skills, restorative justice, patience, respect, team work, leadership skills, civic responsibility, nutritional health, and intellectual competitiveness. They are exposed to a variety of educational and cultural forums, such as museums, libraries, and theaters, as well as, a variety of people with diverse backgrounds, skills, and passions.

Pathway To Harmony Youth Development (PHAYD)

Pathway to Harmony Aikido Youth Development (PHAYD) is a smaller version of the Pathway to Harmony Aikido Program but taught off site at schools, social agencies, community centers, and churches.

Pathway to Harmony is a not for profit created in 2006. We provide quality educational and life skill programs that are created to address issues of stress, apathy, frustration, anger, and violence that have a profoundly negative impact on our communities; and, create educational initiatives that motivate youth and adults to enhance their quality of life and accomplish their academic, professional, and personal goals.
