Pathway to Harmony Summer Programs for Area Youth Offering Scholarships for Aviation STEM, Digital Music Production, Leadership and Business, and Conflict Resolution
CHICAGO, IL – June 28, 2022 – Almost every summer since 2006, Sensei Rick Butler, founder of Pathway to Harmony, Inc. with the help of a few friends, have sponsored their youth program Pathway to Harmony Aikido Summer Enrichment (P.H.A.S.E.). This year the program is designed for youth in grades 7 thru 12 and is held four days a week, running from July 5, 2022, thru August 13, 2022.
Pathway to Harmony has opened registration for the P.H.A.S.E. program, while still working on raising this year’s target goal of $21,700. This year, Pathway to Harmony is offering scholarships to youth who are interested in learning how to fly a plane, how to produce music, create their own business, and conflict resolution. Scholarships will only be awarded to youth who are able to attend all six weeks of the program. In addition, youth completing all six weeks of P.H.A.S.E. will receive a stipend.
The core components of the program are Aviation-STEM, Digital Music Production, Leadership and Entrepreneurial Development, and Conflict Resolution – Self Defense – Mind and Body Energy Revitalization. Each week participants will interact with enthusiastic and passionate people who come from diverse backgrounds and professions who are committed to Pathway’s mission of helping youth to enhance the quality of their life. Pathway provides safe, structured, educational and interactive activities that promote patience, respect, teamwork and civic responsibility, among other aspects.
Pathway to Harmony Aikido Summer Enrichment (P.H.A.S.E), is a six-week summer character. Leadership, and inter-personal skill development program for youth. This year PHASE will be conducted with the help of the Japanese Cultural Center, National Women; Veterans Union (NWVU), Gift of Flight and The Island Recording Studio.
